Ruth M. Walp, Principle Investigator: My grandmother was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years in Maryland and California, and she loves her country and those who serve it. She spent years trying to find information about Theodore H. Bachenheimer because she felt a kinship with him as she was also Jewish, but she was raised by Germans who treated her badly.

Christine I. McClure, Project Lead: My grandmother Ruth sent me her file on Bachenheimer after my grandfather died. This corpus is one of her most prized possessions, and she was confident that I would use them to educate the public. I am a full-time instructor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the Humanities and Communication Department and a second year doctoral student in the Texts and Technology program at the University of Central Florida. I hope that I have made her proud with this website.
